Why wrap your Tesla Model 3?

When you come to sell your car, if you want to remove the wrap, just bring your Tesla back to our workshop and we can remove the wrap, usually within a few hours, and hand you over a car that is (almost) as good as the day it was wrapped!

What different vinyl wrap finishes are available?

There are 3 main finishes available when it comes to vinyl wrap:
  • Gloss -
  • Satin -

  • Matte

Gloss Vinyl

Gloss vinyl is a great option if you’re looking for something with a bold colour, and a finish that looks like paint.

Matte Vinyl

Matte vinyl is often for those customers on the other end who want something completely different, to be unique, subtly. Matte black, matte green, matte charcoal and matte grey are some of the most popular matte vinyl colour options.

Satin Vinyl

Satin vinyl sits in the middle of matte and gloss vinyl. It is not as reflective as gloss, or as “dead” as matte, but it has a lovely sheen to it and is silky to the touch. Metallic satin is a popular choice for Tesla owners, as there are some amazing colours available which look great on the curves and edges of the car.

Full wrap versus a partial wrap

If you are looking to customise your Tesla but not wrap the whole car, you may want to consider a partial wrap. This could include just wrapping your wing mirrors. Alternatively, we have an in-house design team who can guide you through the process of a custom-designed partial wrap that is unique to your taste.

It may also be that you are looking for some graphics or branding as your tesla is a company vehicle. Our design team are on hand to advise you on the best ways to present your business on your vehicle using vinyl graphics.

How much does it cost to wrap a Tesla Model 3?

The cost of wrapping a Tesla Model 3 can vary depending on the colour and level of finish you choose.

There are 3 levels of finish for a full wrap:

  • Full Exterior Wrap – This is the most popular choice of finish for most Tesla owners. Every exterior panel is wrapped to give the effect of a full colour change when the doors are closed. This level does not include the door shuts/ door jambs, these will remain the colour of the vehicle as it was when you bought it.

    A full exterior wrap on a Tesla Model 3 will typically cost from £2,600+VAT - £3,000+VAT.

  • Full Exterior Wrap with Partial Door Shuts – This option is for customers who would like to go further than just the exterior. We will wrap into the door shuts of the side doors, without removing any doors and not including the boot or frunk.

    A full exterior wrap with partial door shuts would add £1,500 - £2,000+VAT to the cost, again depending on the colour/finish chosen. Prices are subject to vinyl choice and are only a guide.

  • Full Exterior Wrap with Full Doors Shuts – For customers who want to go the extra mile with their wrap. We recommend visiting our office before choosing this option and we will discuss with you, in-depth, the process involved for this level of finish.

How do I look after a vinyl wrap on a Tesla Model 3?

For additional protection, we highly recommend investing in a Ceramic Coat for your vehicle's wrap. This hydrophobic coating helps repel dirt, grime, and other contaminants so your vinyl wrap remains clean and looking like new. With a Ceramic Coat as an added layer of protection, you can keep your car's wrap looking great for years to come.

When washing your vinyl-wrapped car, we recommend you do not use an automatic or machine car wash as the abrasive bristles on these washes will scratch your vinyl wrap. We also recommend you do not pressure wash your vehicle as this may cause the wrap to lift if inadvertently directed too close to the edges of each panel. A simple bucket-and-sponge wash on your car will be the best way, or we can recommend a local detailing company if you prefer.

What is the process for wrapping my Tesla Model 3?

We have a simple 3 step process:

1- Pick your colour – Choose from our wide selection of high quality vinyl supplied by our trusted manufacturers.

2- Book your dates – We book you dates and order you vinyl based on a deposit payment.

3- Get wrapped! - Drop off your car on the arranged date, and we’ll let you know when it’ll be ready to be pick up. For most full exterior wraps, without door shuts, you’ll drop off your car on a Monday morning, and pick up Friday afternoon.
