The Surface Design Show is a trade show that celebrates material innovation and is a place for designers, suppliers and industry experts to connect under one roof. In 2025, the show is expecting over 6,000+ architects, designers and specifiers, plus over 180 exhibitors will showcase their products at the Business Design Centre in Islington. The event will also house the Surface Design Awards and a packed main stage programme, boasting 40 speakers across the three days discussing surface design trends.

Workspace Design Show

The Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Show is the UK’s largest hospitality trade event and the only dedicated front-of-house show. It showcases products for hospitality outlets, including tableware, linen, furniture, design services, and staffing. The show connects suppliers with active buyers seeking innovative interiors and accessories. With 1,500 exhibitors and 30,000 visitors, it offers competitions, networking, and innovation across food service, kitchens, and tech.

Architect@Work

Architect@Work is a free, but invitation only event intended for architects, interior designers, shopfitters, engineers, urban planners, government agencies, property developers and final year architecture and design students, and provides the opportunity to learn about modern topics and themes of the interior design industry.  As the event is SBID accredited, attendance provides the opportunity to add 2 CPD particitation points to your record.

Their 2023 exhibition saw 200 product innovations on display, alongside the discussion of energy and ecosystems. The agenda for 2025 focuses on "People + Planet: designing from the ground up." Industry-leading talks will examine the impact architecture and interior design can have in relation to this years topic. There is also an opportunity to explore innovation design, network with other like-minded professionals, and learn more about the future of interior design. At the time of writing, submissions are welcomed for exhibitors which has been restricted to manufacturers, importers or national distributors of:

Grand Designs Live

Based on the television series, Grand Designs Live is one of the most well-known live interior design trade shows. It features exhibitions of the latest ideas, innovations and home-based projects, such as decarbonisation through renewable energy generation.

Clerkenwell Design Week markets itself as "The UK's leading design festival";  a hub of eccentric exhibitions for businesses and architects. The design festival sees over 600 showroom events, with over 11 carefully selected exhibitions, enticing installations to marvel at, and industry talks specialising in the exciting world of interior design. 

The forward-thinking design week demonstrates street spectacles around the location of EC1 in London, challenging the spectator’s view of new installations for educational and entertaining purposes. 

Decorex

High-end interior design company Decorex holds an annual event that showcases and celebrates designers taking their ideas to the next level. PAD London is the only fair in the UK exclusively dedicated to 20th-century and contemporary Design. The week-long event takes place every October on Berkeley Square, in the heart of London’s affluent Mayfair district. PAD London is the sister fair to PAD Paris which was launched in 1998 and takes place every April in the Jardin des Tuileries.
