Our Vehicle Wrapping Process

Updated: 18 March 2024

We know that vehicle wrapping is a niche field and you might not be aware of the process.

We’ve put together this article to help guide you through the process of wrapping your car and what to expect. If you get to the end and still have questions, contact our team on 01993684112 and we’d be more than happy to help.

From enquiry to completion…

We value customer service and know it is highly appreciated by our clients so when we received your enquiry, we aim to get back to you within 2 working days.

Our first step is always to ring you up and find out some key information:

  • What car are you looking to have wrapped? (Make, model and year)
  • What is the original colour of the vehicle?
  • Do you have an idea of what colour and finish you are looking for?

Once we have this information, we can give you a guide on price and advise you on your options.

You might not be aware of all of the possibilities of vehicle wrapping so we can guide you through the process.

The initial meeting

The next step is for us to see the vehicle in person and for that we will invite you over to the office, on Ringwood Farm in Minster Lovell, for a coffee and a look around your car. This is the opportunity then to take a look through our swatch books (3M, Avery Dennison and Arlon) as well as chat with us about any questions you might have.

Booking in

Once you’ve decided on your colour and finish, we take a 50% deposit in order to book in. This secures your dates and based on this, we order in your vinyl. If for whatever reason you need to rearrange your dates, we ask you give us a call or send us an email at least a week before the date of your drop off.

Pre-arrival

In order to ensure the best finish of your wrap, we ask for the car to be clean, with no waxes or polishes. We do give all vehicles a clean with an alcohol based cleaner to take away any dust that has settled however if the car is not initially cleaned when brought to the unit, this may delay the time in which you expect it back as we will have to take the time to clean it. We can recommend local valet services if you would prefer. Get in touch and we will pass on the details.

On the day

We usually ask our clients to drop off to our premises their cars the day before the wrap is due to be started, as this gives all of the seals time to dry over night.

It will then take around 3 to 4 days to wrap your car, depending on the size and complexity. We will keep you in the loop throughout the process, feel free to ask for process shots as we go along!

Did you know, we offer a complimentary professional photoshoot for all of our full wrap vehicles? Let us know if you would like us to pass on these photos to yourself!

Collection day

We’ll give you a call when your car is ready to collect, then just head over to the farm. We will run through the care of your wrap when you arrive and then just take the final payment before we hand over the keys.

We love to hear how you’ve got on! It’s great seeing cars, vans and campers out on their adventures! Tag us in your photos on Facebook and Instagram and leave us a Google review, this helps other people to find us.
