Give your kitchen worktop a new lease of life, without breaking the bank!

Is your kitchen countertop looking tired? Or perhaps you are looking to brighten and freshen up your kitchen without a complete strip out and refit? At CG Surface Design, we can completely makeover your kitchen with our affordable, no-stress kitchen worktop vinyl wrapping service, using our heat-resistant and easy-clean interior vinyl.

What can I expect from my vinyl worktop wrap?

We wrapped Holly’s worktop in Beaconsfield, transforming the whole kitchen with a matte white marble.

BeforeAfter

Originally, the kitchen had a black granite worktop which was in great condition but made the room feel dark and small. Holly chose a beautiful matte white marble from Cover Styl’ which brought the kitchen to life! We also wrapped the upstand to match the worktop which finished off the job beautifully.

What are the benefits of wrapping my kitchen worktop?

Less Time, Less Mess, Less Waste

Wrapping your worktop using vinyl will take usually between a few hours to a day, from start to finish. Typically, our installers will arrive between 9 am and 11 am, then be out of your way before dinner time.

You don’t need to worry about any sawdust or waste from your old worktop. As long as your worktop is structurally sound (we can check this for you), then the only waste will be any old silicone that we will remove and the backing paper from the vinyl.

Less Cost

When it comes to renovating your kitchen, you could be faced with not just a lot of mess in the process but a large bill at the end for strip out and refit. Another benefit of having your worktop wrapped is that Interior Film could save you 7x the amount you would spend were you to have your worktop replaced! With minimal downtime in your kitchen and minimal upkeep, wrapping your kitchen worktop really is the best solution, both in the long and short term.

FAQ's

How much does a worktop wrap cost?
Your worktop will be priced bespoke to you, based on your choice of vinyl and your style of worktop. Our worktops start from £545+VAT for a small, simple kitchen worktop in a wood or marble finish. A kitchen worktop wrap like Holly’s (show above) will cost between £945 - £1105+VAT.
How long will my worktop wrap last?
We use only the best quality vinyl, supplied by Cover Styl’ and 3M DINOC. These materials have a 10-year expected life span, but can last a lot longer if looked after well!
Can I put hot dishes on my vinyl wrapped worktop?
Whilst our interior vinyl ranges are very heat-resistant, we recommend that you use a trivet or hot-rods when putting hot dishes on your vinyl wrapped worktop. If your place a hot dish on your worktop accidentally, it may leave a mark on the surface.
Can I use a knife on my vinyl wrapped worktop?
As with any worktop, from laminate to granite, to solid wood, the use of a chopping board when preparing food is always recommended to prevent stains and damage. We also recommend you wipe up any spills or mess to avoid staining your surfaces.
What should I do if my worktop is damaged?
If your current worktop has damage of any kind, we recommend that you send us photos so we can assess any preparation that may be needed in order to ensure longevity and the best finish for your wrap.
Can I DIY wrap my kitchen worktop myself?

There are many cheaper materials that are designed for a quick-fix DIY job, but will only last you a few months to a year before they show marks and the adhesive fails. Our premium vinyl ranges have been fire-rated and proved to withstand abrasion and can last up for 10 years! Not only that, but our expert team have been trained and are recommended by our material suppliers.

If you have any questions or doubts about our materials and services, feel free to give us a call!
